Mini-chaps: Poems-For-All

At Flor y Canto, these awesome little one-poem chaps, which are a fantastic idea and fantastic production, were everywhere (organizers and volunteers were just handing them out and leaving them on people’s chairs):

These little chaps are 2.0 inches tall x 1.75 inches wide!

(For scale, see my lip gloss tube at the top of the pic)

Top Row: Nicholas Guillen, “Proposito,” and Jack Hirschman, “The Xibalba Arcane: No. 13.”

Middle Row: Roque Dalton, “Advice,” and Julia de Burgos, “To Julia de Burgos.”

Bottom Row: Jose Montoya, “Chicanos Before the War, Raza Before the War,” and Ernesto Cardenal, “Epigrama.”

It’s a very cool teeny tiny press. I have one or two of these books at home somewhere that Akua Lezli Hope sent me. They’re so great.

Hello, forthcoming-from-BOA-editions: I’ve seen the website for this before (made in Sacramento, my hometown!), but not actual specimens. How neat that they made their way across I-80 here. Congrats on the publisher match!

Tara, yeah I love these little guys, and their potential to get everywhere.

Debbie, good to see you again in e-world. You know I’ve missed you, right?

Adrien, thanks for linking over! How’s the poetry going? [Please do back channel and let us know what's up...]
